Financial Aid
2009-2010 Financial Aid Checklist
Students applying for Federal Loans such as the Federal
Stafford Loan or the Graduate PLUS Loan must complete and submit
the following to the Financial Aid Office:
__ FAFSA
Must be submitted electronically by Friday, April 17, 2009.
You can access the website at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
If you completed a FAFSA for the 2008-2009 academic year, you
may complete a renewal application. Most of your information
will be populated and you will just need to update your
financial information and any other item that has changed.
Please review your information carefully to avoid mistakes that
could delay the processing of your request for financial aid.
(If you are applying for institutional
aid as well, the sections requesting parental information must
also be completed on the FAFSA.)
__ UConn Application – Part I
All students who are seeking financial assistance must
complete this form. There are separate applications, one for
new students (PDF) and
one for returning
students (PDF).
__ Signed Copy of the Student’s 2008 Federal Tax Return
