Welcome to the UConn Health Bursar. The UConn Health Bursar manages the cashiering, collection, and student account functions of the University. Students in our Graduate School programs may visit the Bursar's office for the following reasons: to pay fee bills, to obtain a refund check if there is a balance on the student's account, or to seek clarification related to University charges. The Health Center Bursar is committed to assisting students in our Graduate School programs with their tuition and/or fee questions. Students with questions should contact the Bursar via mail, fax, or by phone at:

Important Information for All Students

Financial Responsibility

Students who fail to pay their outstanding balance by the specified due date, stated on the Semester Schedule in the Course Offering Booklet, may be barred from all privileges normally accorded to a student in good standing. These include but are not limited to: registration, class attendance, advisement, library, certification-of-status, and academic transcript privileges. Additionally, any pending University of Connecticut employment authorization may not receive approval or may be subject to cancellation.

If a graduate student does not meet his or her financial obligation to the University by the tenth day of a given semester or by the expiration date of an approved deferment, cancellation of the student's registration and student privileges may result.

It is the student's responsibility to resolve questions related to billing.

Methods of Payment

Acceptable forms of payment are MasterCard, Visa, Discover, a personal check (payable to UConn), money order or cash. DO NOT FAX YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.

Effective Spring 2005, all M.P.H. and M.S.D.S. students may pay for their tuition and/or fees on-line using their credit card (MasterCard, Visa or Discover) or an E-Check which will electronically deduct their total charges from their checking account. They may do this via their PeopleSoft account.

Payments may continue to be made at the Graduate School Bursar's Office, Room AM016 or by mailing a check (payable to UConn) to the attention of Bursar, c/o The Graduate School, UConn Health, 263 Farmington Avenue, Farmington, CT 06030-1829.

Students now have the ability to print out an on-line receipt detailing the amount paid for the semester. Please follow the prompts on our PeopleSoft website to complete this step.

Refund Policy

In order to be eligible for a refund or cancellation of charges, a properly signed schedule revision request card dropping ALL courses for which the student is registered must be filed with the Graduate Records office if after the 10th day of the semester. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR DROPPING ANY CLASS WHILE ENROLLED IN OTHER CLASSES. For more information, see the University of Connecticut refund policy.

Fee Schedule

The fee schedule for degree and non-degree students is available in the Course Offering Booklet (PDF). While every attempt has been made to ensure the accuracy of these figures, tuition and fees are subject to change without notice.
